Where in the world are we?

With this blog I hope to communicate where we are and the opportunities we have had in traveling across America and around the world.

Time is up at our 'little cottage below'!

It is very hard to believe that the time at our cottage in Florida is almost over. We'll be leaving Saturday (March 31) to preach in Crawfordville, FL (south of Tallahassee) then driving north to Wisconsin.

This week we've been doing small, odd repair jobs and putting things back together after painting. We've been eating the last of our food, visiting with friends, and showing the cottage to our wonderful neighbors here at the Pleasant Grove Assembly of God campus.

It went so fast; our time here. We ministered from Myrtle Beach, SC; Soperton, GA; Milton, FL (by Pensacola) to Miami, FL and a lot of places in between. We've met new people, made new friends, saw friends from before, and even had guests for the first time at our cottage.

We are so very thankful and feel extremely blessed with this cottage. It's amazing what a little house can do for someone's well-being. Here in Florida, as in other places, there are homeless people; those who live in their cars, cardboard boxes, or just on the streets. Many find themselves in financial circumstances they can't overcome, and some even choose the lifestyle because of the 'freedom' they think they have. I can relate in a very small way to the feeling of helplessness when you have no place to really call your own. Last season when we were here we stayed with a friend, in motels, and an extended stay motel before we rented a house here; I felt homeless!

That was last year...this year we don't have to concern ourselves with that...we have a home to come to in Florida (and of course our apartment in WI). We are thankful for all the blessings from our Father. HE is so GOOD!

The next two days will be filled with packing, washing, putting away, closing up, and saying goodbye...bittersweet. We'll miss being here, but look forward to seeing our family again.

By the way...this Sunday is Palm Sunday. Find a great church to go to and show your thankfulness and gratitude to the Father of all things for all of your blessings!

See you soon, I hope!!!
